Project Outline
In concert with its core values ("respecting people and valuing time"), Kayson aims to build a magnificent and enduring complex which will serve the educational and cultural needs of future generations in decades to come.
The vast and densely populated Tehran metropolis, with its great cultural heritage, desperately needed a permanent center that would provide a meeting ground for publishers, writers, artists and all those who endeavor to preserve, develop, promote, and disseminate the great culture of the Iranian people. Kayson is determined to make Tehran Book Garden a lasting symbol of its unflinching commitment to improving the quality of life by building a cultural center that would enable Tehran residents to experience entertainment, embrace knowledge, and dream beyond the world they know
The complex of buildings that makes up the Tehran Book Garden consists of four blocks:
Block A (the Northern blocks), including blocks A1 to A4.
Block B (culture axis)
Block C (the Central blocks), comprising blocks C1 to C4 (C4 is named “the Book Valley").
Block D (the Southern blocks), including blocks D1 to D4.
The buildings situated in the Northern and Southern parts of the complex will be used for exhibition, while buildings located in the center will be devoted to auditorium, restaurant, temporary exhibition, office space, kitchen, mechanical room, warehouse and parking.

Kamstein August 22nd, 2009, 01:54 AM Project Outline
Kayson has designed and built numerous projects in Tehran metropolis in the past two decades, thus making a significant contribution to the development of the city's vital infrastructures. Examples include Imam Khomeini International Airport, Yadegar Imam Elevated Highway & Commercial Complex, Amir Kabir Underground Motorway, Afsarieh Cloverleaf Interchange, Navab Residential Housing Complex, etc. Our guiding principle in building all those projects was to serve the community and promote win-win-win relationships. Our triple win formula is designed to bring into play the most critical element of the relationship- the society.
In concert with its core values ("respecting people and valuing time"), Kayson aims to build a magnificent and enduring complex which will serve the educational and cultural needs of future generations in decades to come.

TEHR_IR August 6th, 2011, 07:02 PM Tehran Book Garden to Ease Access to Books
Project manager of Tehran Book Garden said as the project finishes most of the country's book needs will be satisfied and easy access to written resources will be provided.
Ali Akbar Ashari, Tehran Book Garden's project manager and former head of the National Library and Archives Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated the above in a press conference held on July 30.
"The garden will play an important role in promotion of culture and the print industry of the country," said Ashari.
As he said, based on the plan, nearly 35,000 square meters of the garden will be allocated to book fairs and stores. Also, about one fourth of the area will be used for children's book needs.
Ashari went on to say that in the garden book stands will be erected based on the books' topics so that customers will easily access their desired titles. Also a panel of experts will be present in almost all the stands and fields to guide visitors and assist them in their purchases.
He went on to say that the project is funded by the Cultural-Arts organization of Tehran Municipality. Moreover, besides books and cultural stuff, refreshing and entertaining facilities are to be provided in the garden, he added.
According to Ashari, one of the features of the garden is its online center which is good for ordering books online and analyzing them.
At Tehran's Book Garden all cultural activities concerning books are seriously pursued to disseminate book reading habits in the society. This includes the display of movies and performance of live plays with book-oriented themes.
In the children's section of the garden, computer games will be available with animation production training courses. The trainings are aimed at identifying the talented and employing them in cultural centers.
The garden will be prepared with a few months delay during Bahman, February 2012. The complex will be launched parallel with the Fajr Decade. The delay was due to a number of changes in the design of the project, said Ashari.
The garden's visitors will not have to pay for entering the garden which will include various halls for plays and musical performances. The halls will include five conference halls and four smaller halls with 30 to 40 seats.
The conference was held at Tehran's Book Garden on Haghani Expressway in the presence of a number of media representatives.
