Check out this render that I found of Ten, The Esplanade at Surfers Paradise from 1970.

Sadly this building didnt have a very long life demolished in 1988. :(

it was actually a very plan highrise.built 1969.
stood next to Grosvenor which we all know now is site of SOUL!

I scanned this article from The Sydney Morning Herald in May 1989.
Theo Morris proposed a $700 million development for the present site of the Chevron Towers. Three towers, 47 storeys (residential), 20 storeys (hotel and 16 storeys (office) were proposed.
Didnt go ahead due to the property crash of the late 1980's and early 1990's.
