Kowloon is located north of Hong Kong Island and south of the mainland part of the New Territories.

Population (2000): 2,071,000
Population density: 44,000 people/km².

Together with Hong Kong Island, it contains 47% of Hong Kong's total population.

Pretty good, especially the tallest and that clock tower. With Union Square, it will get an 8.5.

I rate it 6/10 now, once the West Kowloon Cultural District is completed , it may get a 10/10!:cool:

Let make a litte statement here...

Hong Kong is Area, a territory ,administrative division...
but it is small enough to consider to be a single city...
In 1840's, the Capital of Hong Kong Island is Victoria City which is Central(BOC), Wan Chai (Central Center), ShengWan ( The Center ) located.
In 1860, Kowloon was starting to belong British.
Kowloon consider to be a city after then...

It is kind of same as New York and Newark... Dallas, Fort Worth...I think

I don't know if is a district or a city but is ok. 7.5

The height of the buildings look very scary!!

Kowloon has some nice supertalls and the future tallest building in HK will be in this area. But the skyline lack both organization and presentation that HK Island has. So I'll give Kowloon a 9 :)

Kowloon's skyline is very scattered. There are bits and pieces here and there. Besides the main one in the Tsim Sha Tsui area, here are some others :

Well, as others pointed out its far to short (in comparison with HK Island). Its all because of the good ol-Kai Tak airport, that made the kowloon skyline look like this. But now since the airport is in Chep Lap Kok, more buildings can rise higher now.

Kowloon gets a 6 for having tall buildings which are generally ugly, and a +1 for the view of HK from the Avenue of the Stars, so 7/10.
