Hello everybody. I wanna show you another brasilian city: Teresina.

Teresina is the capital and bigger city in Piauí state (with 803k inhabitants) in brasilian northeast region. It's the political, economical and educational reference to the state. Teresina city is the hottest capital in Brasil with more than 40ºC (104ºF) in summer!

Piauí is the smaller economy (proportional to it's population) state in Brasil.

Some curiosities about this state. Not long ago, Piauí was the poorest state in the country. In the 70's some said that the solution to Piauí would be dig it and make a gulf in its place (Brazil has no gulfs). By these pictures one can see that Piauienses did a hard job since those days!
