This place looks like a mess. I would have expected something better from such a hotspot of Romania. It looks rather unkept.

I somewhat disagree with that. It looks rather bad even compared to the rest of the tourist-oriented towns of romania. Moreover it doesn't seem to help that the area is warmer than the rest of romania, it gives it a dusty feeling rather than a more mediterranean one.

Mamaia looks to me like some of our big resorts before 5-10 years, which is not that bad in the end, at least I don't see overbuilding and too many people in it. The greenery is also better than most of our resorts. The lift is great and the sand looks great from that picture.

Constanta is also interesting, has some great buildings but some of them looks badly maintainted. The fountains and the greenery looks great :)

And Mangalia....... what a name for a city, hope that Mangal doesn't means the same thing as it means in Bulgaria :)
