The Muang Thai Patra Complex Phase II is one of the most prestigious commercial and retail complex in Bangkok. Rises 33-Storey in a perfect symmetrical square, almost as anthithesis to the sculptural exuberance of the adjoining Krisadanakorn Tower.

Eschewing poetry in favour of pragmatism, Merrill Lynch Center Packs, with it's blandly utilitarian curtain wall of Blue and green reflective glazing glass, some of the biggest surprises in Bangkok's architectural scene.

It also offers some of the most commodious and sensibly planned office accommodation in Bangkok, elevated on rised floors to allow convenient ducting of utilities, including air-conditioning, and equipped with fan powered terminal units which can be moved to permit maximum temperature control. Twenty-eight passenger lifts serve the building from the ground and upper ground floor lobbies. Rising at nine meters per second, these display up-to-the-minute news and world-wide stock market information on LCD display panels.

I agree :)

BTW, did you see the book about SCB Plaza? (It's one of few Bkk skyscraper books in English, that I know of anyway, so I thought you might have spotted it at Asia Books.)

Yup..read loads of Thai skyscraper magazines at Chad's house. I wish they were published internationally though. You almost never see Bkk scrapers in world publications!

whoo, Ratchada really has a big potential to become another big business district. still lots of empty land around there.
