yes. It is a trend in other sections of this forum like in the Thai, Russia, etc forums. China has many neighbors that some may not even are aware of! it is good to build cultural bridges between China and its neighbors!

You should distinguish Tajiks from Turkic Central Asians. Most Central Asians are Turkic including Uighurs but Tajiks speak Persian and are descended from Iranian peoples.

you are right, I think only Uighurs and Uzbeks carry knives which are used to cut meat and melons.. (and unfortunately readily to use on people too, as we saw in the recent riots).

Also the Tajiks of China are different than the Tajiks of Tajikistan. They speak a different but similar language, are Shiites unlike the Tajiks, and have stronger Mediterranean features than the ones in Tajikistan.

The Chinese economy will lift all these boats, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Laos, North Korea, Bhutan, Burma etc. Most of China's neighbors are very rural, underdeveloped poor countries. With the strength and dynamism of the Chinese economy, these neighbors will be able to ride the China wave, giving them a big shot in the arm for fast industrialization and development.

Why do you keep talking about lifting OTHER people's asses???, america lifted the boat for the most of the world, the recession today is just a shortcoming of it's future problems beucase of that. You know that Tajikistan,Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Laos, North korea, Bhutan, Burma hate china right??? Trying to lift their boats will waste hard earned money, fuck these neighbors, shitty neighbors for all i can see.

1. Lifting other boats does not mean giving away money. It means TRADE with other countries. China gets what it wants and Tajikistan gets what it wants. All boats are lifted because of mutually agreed upon commerce.

Yeah sure china will get economic problems in the future, that's what china should get??

Yeah sure china will get economic problems in the future

You say: America has its problems because it trades too much with China.

This is not true. America-China trade relations are a good bargain for both sides.

China gets employment.
America gets cheaper products.

Finances in America are not in order not because of its international trade but because of bad spending policies at home.

You are right. Chinese Tajiks are different from Tajiks in Tajikistan. They are not even close related, but they are both Indo-Iranian peoples. Chinese Tajiks are the relative of Badakhshanis in Tajikistan. By the way, Chinese Tajiks are Ismailis, which are a subgroup of Shi'its, but are quite different from the Shi'its dominant in Iran and Iraq.

You can thank the Chinese media for installing these thoughts into people, 整天说中国崛起是对世界有益的,要为世界造富,好像中国和全世界有福共享,有难同当。

Didn't the eastern part of Tajikistan belong to China during the Qing dynasty?
