ABOUT BOTANICAL GARDENS
Langata Botanical Gardens is a unique, lushly planted private park. A recreational garden filled with breath-taking greenery, covering a large area of peaceful parkland plus a beautiful lake with fish and grounds surrounded by a wide variety of trees and bush. With its remarkable expanses of unique trees, tranquil parkland and botanic gardens, the park is a very popular visitor site and relaxation spot. Located well away from the hustle and noise of the city and away from any major busy road, at the park, you will be surrounded by only clean air and nature.

Nearly two thirds of the Park is natural bush land containing over 50 species of native plants. Langata Botanical Gardens showcases an outstanding collection of both foreign and native flora, bush land and trees some of which have known medical properties. The balance of the Park is made up of superb beautifully cultivated gardens and open grassy recreational areas. There are four open beautiful gardens, which may be used for public and/or private functions. It is a popular place for picnics, pleasant walks, cultural and ceremonial events.

For all local or foreign visitors and residents of the area, Langata Botanical Gardens is a place of inspiration, relaxation, recreation and wonder. A place one is not likely to forget after a visit. Langata Botanical Gardens is the perfect family area, a place for little feet to run and climb in a safe, happy and relaxed environment.

i swear Nigeria and kenya are twins seperated at birth. all these pictures look like nigeria, the only difference is kenyans build with small bricks at times and nigerians almost always use large bricks.

actually i think that kenyans and nigerians have a commonality of hustling. kenyans hustle alot and are very inventive just like nigerians but nigerians take it to another level.

Facts and History

KCA University dates back to 1989, with the establishment of the institution as Kenya College of Accountancy by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) to improve the quality of accountancy and financial management training in the country. The college was founded after a study conducted by Chart Foulks Lynch CIPFA services of the UK in 1987/88. The study revealed that the Kenyan economy required an additional four hundred qualified Accountants every year. The output of qualified accountants from the training institutions then was less than one hundred.

On commencement of its services in 1989, it enrolled 170 students but this number tremendously increased over the years and today, enrollment stands at over 15,000 students annually.

To maintain a national outlook, the institution opened satellite colleges in Githunguri,Kericho, Eldoret and Kisumu all now under the School of Professional Programmes.

That roundabout looks really good.Too bad that it has a bad reputation of accidents occasioned by drivers from langata road heading down the slope towards town.In other countries eg malaysia, roundabouts which are not easily seen because they are just after a slope, are usually surrounded with yellow reflectors or bright yellow lights at night.

Reflectors for the whole thing would maybe cost a few hundred dollars, but what do you expect from the government?
