for me its the Biggest Pineppale in Bathurst. It stands 16.7m high and has 3 floors. It is constructed out of a fibreglass outer skin covering a steel and concrete superstructure
The ground floor has a gift shop. The 1st floor has tourist information and static displays of the Pineapple Story. A must visit for kids doing school projects
The 2nd floor has a continuous DVD on the Eastern Cape pineapple industry and leads up to the observation deck with magnificent 360°views over rolling farm lands to the Indian Ocean

The Shoe House - South Africa
One of many shoe-shaped houses in the world, the South African shoe house, in Mpumalanga Province, was built in 1990 by entrepreneur and artist Ron Van Zyl, a South African artist and hotelier who built the strange building at his wife's request. The interior is a museum of rock and wood carvings made by Van Zyl himself. The Shoe is part of a bigger project, which includes a camp site and a chalet guest house, restaurant, bar, pool and shop.

This spaceship home is situated on a hilltop in a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa, featured on HGTV’s World’s Most Extreme Homes.

The unique, 450-ton structure is made of 50 tons of reinforced steel and special windows manufactured to withstand intense weight and winds. Set above a rocky landscape, the home looks like a flyer saucer that just landed.

While it may look like a spaceship on the outside, it’s a typical home on the inside, with three bedrooms, living and family rooms, a kitchen, dining area, study, game room and garage.

This Baobab tree in Limpopo, South Africa is one of the largest living things on Earth, and one of the oldest. Carbon dating indicates the tree was a tiny little sapling when the pyramids were still unbuilt in Egypt. That's old, but the real reason people visit this natural wonder is hidden inside the tree.

At about a thousand years old Baobab trees begin to become hollow, leaving a space inside. The outer edge of the is tree is over six feet thick and the hollow spot is large enough for a full service bar! The bar is designed to hold fifteen but the owner admits to having as many as 50 guest squeezed into the tree.

So the next time you are in Limpopo, South Africa stop in at the Baobab Bar and have a cold brew and enjoy a game of darts.

You might even amble down and visit the cellar where the beer is kept in the cool earth!
