The Dubai Metro (in Arabic: مترو دبي) is a driverless, fully automated metro network in the United Arab Emirates city of Dubai. The Red Line is partly operational, the Green Line is still under construction, and further lines are planned. These first two lines run underground in the city centre and on elevated viaducts elsewhere. All trains and stations are air conditioned with platform edge doors to make this possible.

The Dubai Metro is currently operated by a joint organisation of the Roads and Transport Authority and the Serco Group.

The first section of the Red Line, covering 10 stations, was ceremonially inaugurated at 9:09:09 PM on September 9, 2009, by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, with the line opening to the public at 6 AM on September 10.

Once the 20 km Green line opens in June 2010, the Dubai Metro will overtake the title of longest automated metro network from the Vancouver Skytrain, surpassing it by 3 km.

If I'm right, you are referring to this station:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/ae/London_Bridge_Jubilee_Platforms.JPG/800px-London_Bridge_Jubilee_Platforms.JPG

These stations are not similar because the cladding in the London station is made out of steel and the station is underground whereas the Dubai station is not underground and its cladding is made out of wood and there are windows which allows for light within the station. The Dubai station is also more modern because it has nice tiles; is cleaner in general and it is elevated.

I was talking about talking the Idea of Safety there. you can also check other stations like "Westminster" if that is not it.

as for clean and all the rest LOL. you also need to think about stuff like when did these picture where took and how old is Dubai metro. these stuff in London are Pretty OLD! and they ARE Clean the colours are dark but if you have walked in these stations they are very clean and modern too!

as f Fresh air I honestly have no idea. but I personally was Able to breath under ground in Westminster just to show you how far it down (BTW I was kinda exhausted by the time I went down)

http://thumb15.shutterstock.com.edgesuite.net/display_pic_with_logo/52155/52155,1228301036,7/stock-photo-westminster-tube-station-futuristic-background-21454954.jpg

that is only one part. so you got down like that somewhat 4 more times if not more.

But yeah I think it's not fair for London to compare due to how long it's been. and it's not fair for Dubai too b/c they need there chance to prove they can be as good if not better.

and I personally believe they can do better.

Sorry if you felt offended but it’s not your fault. The station is quite close to the metro station so the Flickr user misnamed it.

Yes, you are right.

This is what the station looks like:

This photo shows how the station is connected to terminal 3 by a bridge:

Very true and I totally agree that Dubai's Metro is better since it is driverless
