^^ Gaivo (arh) umbla destul de mult prin EU. Chiar daca la noi in tara pare vreo smecherie ModaTim-ul, BMS (building management system), fatada ventilata natural etc sunt destul de comune in strainatate. El practic a adus un sistem nou (cel putin pentru Tm) si l-a adaptat pentru tema respectiva. Nu am nici o indoiala ca l-a copiat de printr-o excursie :P

The Bridge of Sighs or Ponte dei Sospiri is one of many bridges in Venice. It passes over the Rio di Palazzo and connects the old prisons to the interrogation rooms in the Doge's Palace. The bridge was built in the 16th century and only given the name Bridge of Sighs in the 19th century, by Lord Byron.

The bridge is of white limestone. Windows with stone bars are on the summit of this enclosed bridge. The name comes from the suggestion that prisoners would sigh at their final view of beautiful Venice out the window before being taken down to their cells.

Venetia e un loc unic , e fascinant sa vezi cum oamenii merg pe acolo cu barca pe "strazile" orasului.
Mai e in pericolu de inundatie? asa spuneau astia la discovery ca se scufunda 2-3 cm pe an...

Pai si eu am auzit la fel. In primavara cand am fost am inteles ca inainte cu 1-2 saptamani era apa in Piata San Marco :( Nu stiu daca ai observat "lazile" alea din lemn depozitate din loc in loc, ele tin loc de trotuare in caz de inundatii :nuts:

Din pacate multe cladiri sunt intr-o stare foarte proasta, pacat ca nu se baga mai multi bani in orasul ala.

Italy looks so beautiful I was with some mates of mine from New Zealand (im from New Zealand - Wellington which is the Capital) to Italy I remember going to Tuscany it was absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing.

My dad went there 4 years ago he fell in love with the place.

Europe is truly a remarkable continent. Each and every European Country is so beautiful.

I hope to go again sometime when I am entitled to my leave.

Cum adica? Te referi la una din cele mai bune zone din tara? Din cate stiam zona aia este printre cele mai apreciate si unde influenta Austriaca a fost la maxim.

Da dar in acelasi timp era influentata si de sarbi / sloveni etc. Intradevar este printre cele mai bune zone fiind situat in nordul Italiei, dar tot in nord exista si orase "influentate" de Spania / Franta ...

E adevarat ca in Italia se vede cel mai bine trecerea spre un grad cat mai mare al civilizatiei de la sud la nord, dar exista si o "axa" mai mica pe directia cealalta - est - vest. Poate gresesc, dar mie asa mi s-a parut.

PS Eu stiu de regiunea Veneto ca fiind foarte apreciata, nu neaparat de Trieste.

I think European art is so fascinating it has such a great history behind it. I believe it must be treasured for life. I love the arts and music I believe it brings out the potential in you, it gives people a good understanding of their thoughts, experiences etc. French art is among my favorites for sure, in regards of Italian art I think its beautiful in its own special way.

Yes indeed it is quite spectacular the effort and creativity that goes on. I admire their ideas. Art can be so expensive though some art I would love to have. Bogdan BMB I really like your photos, I think they are wonderful. It very much makes me want to go back to Italy again.

I think art is too much about the money. In my opinion I believe the money is not important its the person and the efforts that person goes into making the art that should be recognised. I would rather an artist that does not make much money but produces remarkable art and who can be so proud of his/her achievements I think that for me I can recognise that as a success.

But I have to say that some artists make a huge amount of money from it. It is a very lucrative business you just have to play your cards right, right from the start or the moment you enter the artistic business.

Some are just prototypes. There are architects like Zaha Hadid who proposed works at some exorbitant cost, but at the same time are artists who manage to propose things to a much lower cost but with a much greater influence.

I think because of poverty, there is a very small percentage of the population attending exhibitions, theater, etc. etc.

I think when we barely have an average level of living, people will lavish attention to this area. Until then we have only isolated cases, people who do this only by passion. I don`t know cases of artists who have an income maris / big of art objects.

But that's just my opinion, maybe other Romanian have other opinions :dunno:

Ok. That's an interesting opinion you have. Yes overtime Romania will get wealthier and therefore the competition in the arts sector in Romania will become stronger. Its just a matter of time.

I had a chat to a friend of mine who is from Romania we discussed about the way of life there and I found it very interesting to hear his well educated views on the subject. He came to the conclusion that Romania is getting better over time despite some challenges e.g. transparency. Yes he believes there are issues that could have been overcome some years ago. I agree with what you are saying. Like you said many Romanians or different people will have a different opinion. I have never been to Romania so I wouldn't know. I am just sharing you my friends opinion.

With Romania joining the EU in 2007 I believe the financial attractiveness and prodigious market size of the EU will further allow Romania to reap the benefits of the Membership overtime. It is Romania's responsibility to ensure that benefits of prosperity in the EU will be accomplished through the effective communication and pioneering policies do take the foreground of Romania's economic policy. It will certainly not take one day, or three days the ramifications happen over a long duration of the Countries profound modernization. This often happens on a cyclical basis until the potential is exhausted.
