This is going to bring some much needed density and life into this drab part of the city.

Certainly looks like an interesting proposal with that small theatre built under a connection between the two buildings.

The area will be pretty good if this development, the one across the road (in this thread: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=326287 ) and that one on the corner of light square that the council thought was too tall, all get built in the next few years.

The only thing i dislike about this proposal is the carparking included into the building when there are about 3 multi-level carparks right next door.

And one thing i'm unsure about is the height of the building; 65m seems a bit short for a 26floor building, Conservatory is 18 floors at about 62m, so how does this one manage to stick 8 floors into 3m, unless there are 4-5 floors underground or something?

I just went over the ground floor plan and the elevations again, and i worked out that the 2 towers are only 22 floors tall and it i'm assuming the narrower tower is a hotel/serviced apartments and the other tower is residential just from what i saw on the ground floor plan.

So far i'm liking this proposal, but will just have to wait and see if this gets approved and built.

Can this one be changed by a moderator to the 16 level Uno Apartment building being constructed on the site now:
