It may be a little confusing that you start with a few pics obviously taken in Rotterdam. Rotterdam and Brussels, I love them both, but they are totally different.

How did you enjoy the food? The sandwich as showed does not look very tasty, but Brussels is known for the wonderful Belgian restaurants - I hope you've visited them :)

The food in Brussels was great, but the food in Antwerpen was the best I have yet had in Europe.

By the way, that sandwich is my most favorite snack food on this planet; the Chicken Pepper Cream from Panos. Love it!

I'm glad you liked Brussels. It's definitely not the most beautiful city in the world, but if you take the time to discover it, you'll find a fantastic city.

For a dynamic and non-static metropolis, I found the city pretty damn handsome.

For a dynamic and non-static metropolis, I found the city pretty damn handsome.I agree, in my opinion it´s also the smallest city in Europe were you can have a real big city feeling.

Brussels has just over 1.000.000 inhabitants and if you compare to cities in Europe with a similar amount of people than Brussels always feels like the bigger city.

Furthermore, I also really enjoy the diversity. You have the classic center (Grand Place), the African area (Matonge), Moroccan areas (Schaerbeek), the European quarter, the trendy classic Brussels area (Marolles),... Again, compared to many "smaller" capitals this is quite unique.

I would recommend everybody a trip to Brussels but do not expect any breathtaking beauty (apart from the Grand Place) but you will be amazed by the laidback even Southern atmosphere.
