I doubt that there is any ny haters that actually genuinely can't stand the site of this beautiful place outside of the pro-suburbanites...

empire state is really small for a city like NYC...NY needs one Burj khalifa or similar

Thanks for the photos of a wonderful area of New York, the wealth of late 19th/early20th century buildings makes this a very special part of the city unlike further up mid-town where so much has been destroyed and in many instances replaced by vastly inferior buildings. These old N.Y. 'scrapers are so superior to that trash in China and the middle East and are unique to this part of the world, they should all have preservation orders on them.

This series shows that you can't build a world class city simply by erecting skyscrapers.
That's why NY is so much ahead of Dubai, Shenzen, Shanghai, Singapur or even HK.

So many ugly bland buildings in NY with the exception of the school/residential tower by Worldwide developer if it really actually gets built. NY has bad taste!
