A nice tower in a well planned CBD. a bit slim, but still looking good.

Too bad Ningbo port has to compete with Shanghai port. Otherwise it must have been much bigger and busier, although it has already surpassed Shangai port in some areas. Well, hope these two ports could cooperate with each other.

Ningbo is the paradise for local experimental building designs!
I saw the New Ningbo Museum by the Hangzhou based avant-guard architect Wang Shu was used as the cover image of the famous dutch design magazine MARK early this year. :)
The other local architect like Shanghai based MADA s.p.a.m(Ma Qingyun) also has some quality building designs in this lovely port city.

The architect is a Japanese firm called Nikken Sekkei. It's one of the biggest architectural design groups in the world. The Tokyo Sky Tree in this forum was also designed by this practise. They also have branches in Shanghai and Dalian looking after the Chinese market. :)
