this thread has been to quite mbale is one of ugandas strongest and most infastructurally sound cities. its not in the group of jinja,gulu and mbarara. but ts next in line. so here some pics.as you can see mbale has good infastructure they are going to expand the cbd by 600 acres for a bid for city status.

mbale town is ugandas 5 th largest urban centre with a population of just ovver 100,000 it was declared the cleanest city in east africa but dew to the wars in amins years the town was niglected. the town has a hospital many railway links and growing cbd and a hospital.

The training pitch and club house under phase one are nearly complete.

The second phase of the project supported by the club’s friends in Norway will involve construction of the 20000-seater stadium, tennis and volleyball courts.

this is the stadium before the upgrade . currently it is a 8,000 seater stadium it is in serious need of upgrade.after the upgrade it will be a modern 20,000 seater stadium with a athletics track,and athletics facilities,electronic scoreboard etc
