Really like the overall look of the stadium but the design seems a bit limiting. Love the shape of the roof as a piece of architecture but not if they want to expand the other side. The single upper tier looks a bit like an afterthought as it is.

Actually Bursa is a big city and Bursa SK has got many fans (not like many other small turkish clubs).
Current stadium has got an capacity of 19,700 and they average was 18k when they played in the 2nd Div.

Great project, it is original and has a look of high quality about it hopefully the finishing touches are better then they were in Kayseri which like this project had a great design but was built with costs in mind and corners we're cut. When could we see this get built?

I feel like 35K is a bit low for the club considering their fan base. 48K would be appropriate. Anyway I hope them to get into work as soon as possible.

Currently city, sports ministry and club are talking. Who needs what? What do you think. What do you prefer etc.

First tier looks very steep!
The interior is unique, haven't seen a similar layout before.
The 2nd tier of the main stand could be slightly bigger, otherwise I really like it.

Bursa should consider 40k capacity or at least expandable to 40k in future, bcs they are a club with big fan potential. In the case that Turkey bid for a world cup in future either on its own or together with Greece, Bursa is a definite world cup city candidate. As far as i know min capacity requirement for WCup is 40k.

^^ Great news, but IMO this stadium is small for a city like Bursa, a city with more than 2 million inhabitants deserves bigger stadium... The capacity of the stadium must be bigger, at least 50-55-60k. I'm sure that the fans could fill it easy. The turkish clubs must think about the future...

I think what they should have planned was to make the outside look like it's covered in scales. They could do it in a way that looks both classy and original. The giant head looks too Vegas, or like the entrance to a Disneyland ride.

Best example is Kadir Has Stadium and has been build by the Kayseri metropolitan municipality. Municipality dont have big budget to built big and modern stadiums. i m sure gdansk municipality wouldnt spend 777 million polish zloty for pge gdansk arena. Kadir has stadium cost roughly 35 million euro. A municipalities dont have power to spend more money to build big and modern stadiums in turkey.

Galatasaray stadium Turk Telekom Arena built by the state foundation we call TOKI. Galatasaray got help from state galatasaray give up from ali sami yen stadium (previous stadium) given new land to build new stadium to TOKI but state did not spend any money from his pocket cause previous galatasaray stadium ali sami yen stadium is in city of centrum and in valuble place. Given TOKI and build new stadium even TOKi reap profit.

Only last year state give promise to spent £1 billion for euro 2016 stadium but has not been given.

The capacity of the planned stadiums across Anatolia vary between 33.000 and 45.000 and I think this is quite suffcient for those cities. Why do you expect Anatolian cities to have tremendous stadiums at all?

I get your point an I wasn't trying to suggest anything bad about it, it just seems like a huge project and the budget looked strangely low.

As for Polish cities - actually Gdansk financed the vast majority of it's stadiums and for example Krakow spent over 700mln for two stadiums, not mentioning other huge sport investments. I'm not saying this to boast about, because they didn't spend the money wisely. I just would think that Bursa, being twice the size Krakow is, would actually afford that stadium.
