Are they going to buy the jumbotrons from White Hart Lane?

^^
Those jumbotrons are brilliant I wish Spurs would just build a bigger version of WHL just so they can keep them.
They have actually fitted a new jumbotron recently, looks a bit cheap sadly. It would have looked better if they fitted it on the roof of the Brammall Lane Stand but I'm guessing it was done like that because it would be easier and cheaper to do.

It looks great for me, and I can see that the Owls are also planning to modernise their stadium:

I've been on matches at both grounds and hope Sheffield will be one of the host cities in 2018. Hillsborough was a venue of euro '96 so I think it would be fair if this time Bramall Lane had been chosen.

I like the look of the development a lot. Good closed in modernised British stadium. This is how they should look!

They already chose hilsboro because they hosted it before and since the blades have become the more succesful team in the last 12 years and one of the only finacially solvent clubs in the entire football league the powers that be thought we wont reward them for being a well run club we will reward the club that messed up:ohno:

Ha!

Stop being so bitter. You aren't in the running for the 2018 World Cup, because Hillsborough is better and meets the criteria FIFA sets out more than 'the lane' - which is a ground what has been so far been redeveloped losing its old soul and character.

If they do go ahead with this project then they should remove the 'blade' motifs from the 2-tier stand down the side. It looks like 2 cocks sticking up...and you don't want that!

Nice change of manager looks like you will at least finish 20th this year:lol:
Another excellent decision by the pigs, maybe we should start a league for clubs like them, it could be called the league of administration, they would still finish bottom:banana:

Why have I not seen you on the Sheffield forum?

And seriously, grow up. This ground isn't traditional as it's been battered by redevelopment to the extent its lost its character.

Looking at the new (proposed/pie in the sky) design for hilsboro the comment made by the poster above it so ironic to the point of side splitting. In reality neither sheffield club have a stadium that can host a current world cup, just based on the infrastructure within the stadiums themselves. For example getting a half time cup of tea at either place is like battle of the sardines. There are huge numbers of restricted seats at both venues (yes the new plans address this but it didnt happen yet just talk), for the new designs of both stadia the two corner seated areas are flawed and just there to make up the numbers this needs to be changed. The seating itself is too closely spaced at both stadia. The hospitality scene is inadequate at both stadia. The playing surfaces leave alot to be desired at both stadia. The list goes on.

So who pays for the re-devolpment @ Hillsborough???????????
