I know this isn't a very large project, but I thought it's interesting enough for a thread.
Scheduled to open in Fall 2010, Cambridge Commons is a LEED- Certified building featuring a green recreation area, two green roofs, and access to the Milwaukee River

That will be really nice infill on North Ave - much nicer than the gas station that used to be there. It's room for 400ish (don't remember the exact figure off hand) students. The large, smelly factory behind the building detracts from the area a bit however. I think local businesses will appreciate this thirdlarge influx of students to the area (Kenilworth & Riverview being the others). If these are primarily freshman dorms, which I imagine they are, the bars won't be benefiting a whole lot at night though. I think La Piazza will appreciate it the most.

It will house aprox. 700 students, with 2 types of configurations for rooms. http://www4.uwm.edu/housing/communities/cambridge/images/standard-suite-web_1.jpg and

Also about 160 beds, or 40 suites are targeted towards upperclassmen and include additional amenities as seen in the second diagram, so while La Piazza and Judges will be getting a lot of new customers, the other bars will also probably see an increase in business as well.
And like UWM's other dorms, this one will also have zipcars on site.
And apparently every unit comes with a full size fridge!
