Hello guys!
I need some help of someone from Sao Paulo who has a little bit of time for me.
I study interior architecture in Belgium. At the moment I've got to do a case study of a house which is located in Morumbi, Sao Paulo. I'm talkin' about "casa Valéria (Cirell)", sometimes also called 'crystal garden house' of the famous and nice architect 'Lina Bo Bardi'. It's a house built in 1958.
I don't know whether you know the house? But my question is... if you have any more information about the house (in english ;)) or pictures... But even more important...if you live very near maybe I can ask you to take some specific pictures at the location?
The address is "rua brigadeiro armando trompowsky 65".
So if you can visit it or give me some additional information... it would be very helpful :D Of course I have already some basic information, the plans and about 20 pictures but it's not enough :p.
Thank you very much in advance,
Jasper Van der Linden

very nice that you enjoyed Belgium, I like living here too ;).

I already have all the basic information of the house. I also have almost all the information there can be found on the internet in english and dutch about the house. Also more or less all the pictures (about 35). But this isn't much for a big presentation about it.
I also have all the books where casa valeria is mentioned in that there can be found in Belgium... which are 2 books with about 2 pages of text in total.
But I need more information... what are the exact materials, what changed on the house since it was built? (there seem to be built an extra part which isn't on the original plans). what inspirated Lina Bo Bardi while building this house? Are there links with a typical Brazilian building style?
Someone who lives near the house that can take pictures and tell me specific things would be great... someone who has other sources than just a random lookaround in google would help a lot too.
btw: only the last 3 of your pictures are casa valeria, i can't do a lot with stuff about glass house and other buildings.

thank you.

ps: what did you visit in Belgium? :p
