Initially my simcity 4000 working very well not only after i install my simcity rush hour expansion set. Whenever i click on the icon of simcity rush hour, this thing will pop out "The configuration file (Graphics rules.sgr) cannot be parsed.Using built-in rules." How to fix this problem?? Please help me as i am really eager to play this new expansion set...

i'm having the same problem as kevin (i have downloaded sim city 4 and the original rush hour) wich patch do you need to solve this problem???

I had that problem. For me, the solution was making sure the SimCity 4.exe was named correctly. Also dont have doubles of it on your desktop or whatever. In fact, i dont even run a shortcut on my desktop. I think the crack exe was called simcity4.exe or something, and it should be named SimCity 4.exe. At least thats how mine is. When i went to Rush Hour i dont recall having a simular problem. I do know I had to be sure to open Rush Hour by going to my Start > Maxis > Rush Hour, not Start > Maxis > Sim City 4 like before.

I think i have the solution.
For the problem graphics rules.sgr simply replace the graphics rules.sgr from your simcity file by the orignal one from the cd of sim city 4000.
For the text that you cannot read in game , apply the expansion patch , replace the simcity_1.dat and simcity_2.dat by the originals one that u found in your downloaded "Rush Hour.bin" and apply the SimCity 4.exe .
You must apply the crack or it won t work.

i recently installed simcity rush hour and when i launch the game it comes up with graphic rules sgr. can not be parsed. i am very eager to play this game again. i bought simcity 4 from thailand and it worked on windows xp and so did the exp. but now it doesnt. i am wondering is it because i installed it on windows 2000 pro and have different video card. but the card is a geforce4 ti4200 with agp8x and it is newer version from nividia..it meets all the requirements plzzzz help

i was having problems during the installation..

when the autorun menu comes up.. instead of words .. all i see is "????" question marks..
