The middle tower is called Europa Tower - a part of Europa complex that includes Europa Tower, Europa Apartments, Europa mall and square Europa (Some info here (http://www.hanner.lt/cgi-bin/hanner.cgi?l=En&f=obj/12_ig)) :)

The name of that blue tower is unknown as the date of cunstruction. But it has the investors and will start rising soon :yes:

This city survived all sorts of historical bad luck, the worst being the 70+ year occupation by the Soviet Union. It survived all the crushing communist dogma and survived:)

It is in it's infancy as far as skylines go, but for sheer historical significance and the beauty of the Baltic, I rate it an 8.0

acctually last soviet troops left in 1993, so it's 48 years of soviet occupation, also two decades of polish occupation and german occupation during both world wars - all of this during last ~90 years and all this time city was either neglected or experianced a "healthy soviet growth" :D

There is something about this city,its hard to explain.everyone loves it so much.Nobody I know ,who ve been in Vilnius,left untouched.Its amazing,no?

I love the distinct separation of the old city and new city, as is the case with many great European cities. Vilnius seems like it would be a really cool place to visit as well, hope to get there some day. The baltic capitals all have pretty impressive skylines, and Vilnius is no exception.
