I have been to Pattaya & its great.Though it isn't exactly the kinda place you look for skyscrapers but the way it is developing,i'm sure it will soon have a lot more hotels & maybe some other buildings to add to the skyline.

i hope that in 10-20 years time... the prostitution rings get taken down... the russian mafia, european criminals, and all mobsters leave... and that Pattaya turns into something like San Remo, Cannes or Miami and FTV and all the worlds party houses move in.

With the Central Festival, I hope design leaders like Nina Ricci, Gucci and such open stores in the city. Then the strip can be redecorated to be of higher class and not block the way for traditional Thai markets and etc. Then Pattaya could turn into something never before seen in Asia.

Pattaya skyline is probably the nicest in Thailand only second to Bangkok...I think it's fairly good, enough though it might need a bunch more of highrise buildings to fill in its landscape....For now it deserves 8/10....

This city is growing rapidly and its skyline is getting bigger and bigger...I somewhat like its skyline and how the city is expanding new highrise projects along the coastline...for now I give it 9/10

I can't wait to see Thailand's new tallest building that will be located here...

this is a nice resort city and has a beautiful skyline where some of the buildings (hotels) are really tall.
Never been here but I have plans to go.

I love how outside of Bangkok other Thai cities look so small...How big is Pattaya?
Judging from the skyline images I'm guessing it's around 250,000-400,000.....

But Pattaya is one of the smallest city in Thailand.. :dunno:

"Pattaya welcomes around six million tourists a year, but has a resident population of just 107,538 people and 500,000 of non-residents who work there but are registered elsewhere in the country."

It's also part of Pattaya-Chonburi metropolitan area, which comprises of Pattaya City, eight town municipalities, and 25 township municipalities in eight districts with 1,183,604 registered inhabitants as of 2010.
