The building in the first picture is the building next to the Engen Garage with the Nandos on the ground floor on the corners of St David Place and Girton as well as St Davids Place and St Andrews . This whole building was already leased to Transnet Freight Rail and will be renamed Inyanda House 4.
The building in the second photo used to be 2 seperate buildings but is now complete and only 1 enlarged building. It sits between Girton Road and St Andrews in Parktown. It houses Transnet Freight Rail and the full executive have their offices in the building. This building has been renamed Inyanda House 2.
The old Werksmans building in Girton Road has already been upgraded for Transnet Freight Rail with the old partially closed garden all incorporated into a big open hall with the roof 5 stories high. This serves as the National Command Centre for Transnet Freight Rail and was named Inyanda House 1. This building is between Wellington and Girton.
Building next to Inyanda 1 and accross the road from Inyanda 4 is also in the process of being upgraded. This building is on the corners of Wellingotn and St David Place as well as Girton and St Davids Place. This will be named Inyanda House 3 and form part of the 4 buildings that will be the Transnet Freight Rail head office. The old buildings in Braamfontein will be occupied by the Passenger Rail Agency.
The building opposite Inyanda 4 is also in the process of being expanded and renovated. The parking garage have been increased substantially and a 4th floor added. The finishes of this building is in line with the two renders in the photos above. Some very nice restaurants have opened in that building across the entrance to Parktown Boys High on the corners of Wellington, St David Place and Girton.

That's what I thought when I saw the picture. Is it the one with Capello?
So sad that transnet have let their buildings in the CBD rot :ohno:

This is a real nice change for transnet - i remember the crappy building they had in Durban. Hopefully they up keep this one.
who's handling this project? I would really like to know more about this one as i used to work in logistics and dealt with Transnet on a daily basis.
