Here is my new city, People! :)

This city started out as a real city that was just pieced together and used to make lots of money. I ran the city until I got about three million in the bank and then demolished it. I then set out the whole grid system with buses and elevaded rail. No subway, just buses, freeways, elevaded rail, and roads. This is how it looked:

I decided not to have one downtown area but a few!

The river came in handy. It let me put the polloution across from it since the begining stages of a city needs the industrial. I could also use toll plazas to get extra money. ;)

Then, I got some new BAT rail stations. They work and look so much better than the other ones (in my opinion) so I put in a small system which began to grow.....

Density (This tower no longer exists. This station was also upgraded. You shall see it further down).

Looks like putting in that rail system was a good idea! :okay:

Looks like a great city, Kyle! The mass transit looks efficient/effective, and the BAT buildings are awsome! :D

I love those long railroad stations, Style! I'd use them but my city is already built up. I wonder why you didn't download a much more modern bus station? Also, I can see a lot of notable BAT buildings there as well. My suggestion is to have more natural features in your city like hills or more waterways...

queetz, I have the other bus stations but I do not like them. They cost less money to put in and per month but they do not seem to fit in with my cities for some reason. I guess I am just stuck to the old expensive ones! :D

I was having this city kind of be like a basin with a river. It is near the edge of the map so there would be a coast the next (and last) city over (medium size city). The cities next to it will have some more form to them so it can all drain down into this one.

Are that BAT buildings standard into simcity 4?

No. You have to create them or download them off of a site. http://simtropolis.com has a large database of BAT buildings. :)

Hmmm... Nice city I give 8/10.
You have high demand for residential and commercial, but you`ve low demand for industry. How do you do that??

I usually love the grid, but this takes the cake! Have you even seen highways go so straight and so gridded before? It's not bad, I am sure your aim isn't to be uber-realistic.

No city that I know of is like that... except Adelaide. Yes, your city is very much Adelaide-ish, everything is square and boring.

1/10

P.S add more trainlines!!!! (duplicate existing ones to add capacity)

you need more tall buildings and a more realistic highway system

I don't like it.. There is too much contrast between tall and small buildings. What do you think about my city? Have a look:
