I honestly believe that the blue nile state is more important to the Northern economy then the 10 Southern states. The South only provides us with oil (which is fastly depleting) and a headache:bash:. The South in 2010 was only worth 1.3 billion dollars to the North and we will continue to get a precentage of this in transit fees and export duties.
While Blue nile state equates to control of 90% of the Niles waters, I often here southerners say they will cut off the Nile from us, when they only provide a fraction of the Nile's water and even then a proportion of the white nile's waters originate in the North in Bahr al Arab.

I couldn't agree more! What is dangerous though, is the fact that so far there hasn't been a clear definition of the 'Popular Consultation' that is due to take place next year.

Yea some Southerners keep on changing the facts, as if changing it on Wikipedia makes any difference. Blue Nile is a Northern state its population is largely Muslim and its people are Northern.
