Well done! I would still add the city names to each rendering though. Or perhaps group the images by city. A text link list of projects with heights and other info under the images would also help to look things more 'complete'.

Concerning the names of the cities, there are only five projects up there that are not from Vilnius so if separated the list would be uneven to say the least, also isn't the point of the quick links just to present the rendering?

I agree with making a written list of projects displaying the height and so on, I shall get on with it as soon as I find some time.

^^ the point in the quick link thread with image layout is that people with no clue about Lithuanian architecture and developers can get interested. Best thing to do is show renderings in a 'cool' layout.

Adding text with those renderings will just mess it up. Its better to add lists under it, with heights and location as i did. Thats what i think at least. :)

I agree.

Last thing, its important to keep the project threads updated as well as creating new ones for proposed developments and such. Because lithuanians enjoy the miestai.net forum there is less need for discussion here, so there's a downside to having our own forum, in that the broader community is less informed as less photos, renderings and news are posted here on SSC.

Updated with the Vilnius University Library building as well as the Vilnius Baltic Center development; two long awaited projects that hopefully start during Spring. Go Vilnius  !

Is there another good rendering? I want sure? If the project is to be started I would think it deserves a separate thread, but I couldn't find much information on the latest proposal.

Updated with the recently resumed 'Baltic Center' project, continuing development of 'Helios City', the on-going construction of the indoor snow arena in Druskininkai, the not-soon-to-end-still Rulers Palace (Valdovų Rūmai) project and the proposal for the new SEB bank headquarters.

That is a bit confusing when you look at it, why not seporate them into sections by city?

Also having Lithuanian coat of arms on Lithuanian Forum page like Russian Forum would look great, it might be wronge place to post this, but who knows where it is.

Well, most of them projects are in Vilnius, it would be quite pointless to put most of them in one section (Vilnius) and a very few in other sections, I think it would be better to sort them into categories, which are:
1. Under construction
2. Planned/ Approved
3. Completed ;)

What if it would be seporated by county?

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/89/Municipalities_in_Lithuania.png

Then it would be in sections, or seporated by headings I mean, and the pictures would have outlines around them, for example, a finished project's picture would have a white outline, a on hold project would have a red outline, a U/C project a green outline, so it would be sort of like this:

▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒Vilnius▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒

▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒

▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒

▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒Kaunas▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒

▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒

And it would continue on like this, but with pictures instead of text, and there would be a key on the side telling what each color represents.

And This should be the symbol on the Lithuania Forum (just like on the Russian Forum): http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f5/Standard_of_the_President_of_Lithuania.svg/1000px-Standard_of_the_President_of_Lithuania.svg.png

Big update!

As we are seeing more and more projects being brought back to life after this recession of ours this page was long overdue for an update. New very impresseive projects are also cropping up here and there, unfortunately some tiles had to be taken off as the TEO building or the Guggenheim are sadly not going to be built...

The rendering tiles have also been sorted into the appropriate stages of being constructed/proposed (approved)/ and completed.

If there are any new development I missed out please do tell.

Jeigu kažką pamiršau arba manote kad reikėtų pridėti, ypač is kitų Lietuvos miestų prašau parašykit.

Nice, I would like to see more skyscrapers get built in the NCC, so Vilnius would have more of a skyline.
