When is it expected to reach the final height? And when should it be finished?

As far as I know, it will be finished in the end of 2005. Howewer, the low commercial part (on the left side) is said to be ready by the end of 2004.

194 meters (with spire - to the roof about 165-170 meters) It will be the third tallest building in Warsaw.

That is quite tall! But it doesnt look so tall because its wide.

Just a fantastic looking tower and good to see it rising! Warsaw has got some kick ass skyscrapers around! But this is one of my fav's going up in Europe! :) :okay:

"Rondo" is where the cars go round - it is a polish word for "Roundabout" or "Circus". The scraper stands on "Rondo ONZ" (which means "UN Circus")

So Rondo 1 will be the 2nd tallest modern scraper after the 1st tallest modern tall, The Warsaw Trade Tower, seen in the 2nd pic that Arttera posted.

I also didn't realise until now that Warsaw is becoming quite dense with scrapers, once again with the pics Arttera posted. Great :okay:

What a great building! One of my favorites (along with Hearst Tower in NYC) to watch going up. The only thing that is slightly disappointing to me is that the diagonal braces in the bridge from the cores to the main tower aren't as visible as they are on the render. But the rest of the facade more than makes up for that.

Well, Warsaw certainly is not as nice as Moscow... having suffered for so many years under Russian/Soviet occupation.

Wow, Rondo is coming along really nicely! And Downtown Warsaw likewise! I am looking forward to a new skyscraper-project in downtown Warsaw in the very near future! AND it wouldn't be a bad idea ifit would be taller than the palace of Science and Culture ;) Awesome Rondo 1 :D

I have never witnessed the progress of construction of a skyscraper in this forum like that of the Rondo 1. The Polish forumers have saturated the threads with photos from every angle and perspective...and now even views of the interior and construction workers' perspective. The more I see...the more i respect the building. Kudos.

Yeah good to see not only the dutch can organise big meetings. :) Good job! And visiting a tower site with other freaks is great, we dutch know that!

For the rest good to see the outside is almost finished. I adore the glass, really transparant, I love that! Good tower!

Together with all the other (recent) projects it's worth to visit Warsaw again...

Looking foward to see it completes, very soon :)

I was in Warsaw recently and went to see this building and it looks amazing in Warsaw's skyline. One thing I dont like thought the the concrete on that shaft on the outside looks wired in my opinion.

It's looking really good. I didn't know it had all those setbacks on the other side...i like even more now.

Hopefully when this building and golden terraces are done, Warsaw can reorganize the area around central station. Right now it is a zoo buses stopping every where, roads that lead no where.

It will be the best skyscraper in Poland and one of the best in Europe :)

On this picture we can see metal panels covering the sides of elevator towers (in the front). It seems that they are silver and very reflexive (on the lowest elevator wall) - the white matte colour (on the middele elevator wall) is caused by a protective cover, which will be later taken off.

The word to describe this building is CLASSY! It just oozes style. Love the glass and the gold up top.

I would prefer it without a spire. To many buildings have spires. I think only the tallest should have spires.

Yes, towers are pretty close to each other ( about 60m +/-) correct if im wrong :|

it think ist beautiful..especially at night..it is very unique for its size...i like it..warsaw doesnt need to build high up..just more of these within that same area

The skyline is getting better every day, but Warsawa defenitively needs more density. Not only 200+ towers, also alot of 100-150 meter towers.

AIG Tower in Hong Kong, also designed by SOM looks different from every angle too. ATM It's my 2nd favourite SOM designed tower.
