嘉義故宮南院 將營造水景博物館 2004/4/14

「全球少見故宮南部分院，在70公頃廣裘土地建造博物館；與本地專業界討論，初步朝亞洲主題園區定位，並建造各文化區主題庭園，而亞洲庭園共同的元素是水景，所以故宮南院博物館建築將朝引進水景來規劃」，來台參與規劃故宮世紀大計畫的美國賓州大學設計學院院長蓋瑞．漢克，昨日為預計2008年於嘉義開館的故宮南院建築提出想像。

這是正在規劃故宮南院的加拿大洛德博物館文化規劃公司，於南院願景研討會討論的初步共識，參與者除國際級景觀權威漢克外，還有聯合國教科文組織委員的夏威夷大學旅遊產業學院院長華特．詹密森與規劃博物館超過30年經驗的洛德公司負責人約翰．尼克，國內學者有淡江大學建築系副教授畢光健、王俊雄等10餘人。

漢克表示，以亞洲博物館為主題，其機會是讓台灣人民在此實際體會「文化流動性」的意義，以及藉由博物館文物「統一的元素」，塑造於台灣文化、中華文化與亞洲文化間的定位與互動新詮釋。他以亞洲庭園來說明，指出水景在中國庭園、日本庭園、韓國庭園及泰國庭園中都有，但巧妙各有不同，於是水景是統一元素，但分屬各庭園就是文化流動的層次。

至於博物館藉增建或擴建能開啟新契機嗎？尼克指出，這是一定的。紐約大都會、波士頓博物館，也都是在歷次增擴建中，加入新目標而達成張望另一文化層的意義。他也指出，故宮在民雄的基地，將結合交通大學南部校區，及嘉義縣長陳明文昨日提及的2008台灣博覽會南部副展場，都促使故宮，除文化經營上，更將誘引開發高科技文化的研發。

故宮院長杜正勝補充指出，嘉義有較長的枯水期，如何塑造水景雖是共識，但也得在技術上克服。此外，亞洲庭園區將直接邀聘各國建築師設計各國風格的庭園，這也定案了。

東京銀座龍頭松屋百貨即將閃亮登場嘉義市耐斯王子飯店 2004/5/3

耐斯企業集團所屬馬哥波羅國際開發公司，五月三日上午十時，在劍
湖山王子大飯店舉行加盟日本松屋百貨集團締盟簽約儀式，由耐斯集
團總裁陳哲芳與日本松屋集團會長古屋勝彥代表雙方簽約﹔副市長李
俊俋代表陳麗貞市長見證與觀禮，李副市長表示，嘉義市是以辦喜事
的心情來做見證，相信在2006年耐斯王子飯店落成啟用後，是彰
化以南，新營以北第一家國際五星級旅館，也是第一座大型百貨購物
商場，更是提供雲嘉南地區「一次購足」的複合式購物、休閒、渡假
生活的娛樂商圈，屆時更將是雲嘉南地區優質生活的新地標。

這座位於嘉義市忠孝路600號，緊鄰阿里山北門車站的耐斯王子飯
店，是由耐斯企業集團累積40年的商譽和開發經營劍湖山世界、劍
湖山王子大飯店等觀光事業之成斥g驗，再加上加盟日本王子飯店集
團之後，將所屬購物商場加盟日本松屋百貨集團；總投資金額高達5
0億元，已於2003年11月底取得建築執照，12月中旬動土開
工，預計2006年中完工，開幕營運。

松屋是日本著名御用的百貨公司，隸屬於東京生活集團，該集團已成
立有136年歷史，創立於1869年。松屋百貨集團一向以「引領
東京時尚流行風」、「創造優質生活設計百貨」為願景，且引進世界
知名路易威登LOUIS VUITTON國際集團合作，松屋銀座
LV營業額更高居全亞洲之冠。「VMD視覺商品計劃」是松屋一大
特色，每年度都榮獲「日本櫥窗設計大賞」，多樣化的視覺驚艷，引
發購物的心情。
副市長李俊俋表示，耐斯王子飯店大型百貨購物商場的開設，配合故
宮南院的闢建，嘉義市成為雲嘉地區生活圈、娛樂圈、商圈的中心，
遠景可以預期。

Guess what? I do agree with you that...it does look quite tacky =.=ll

Nevertheless, for a city that is ranked #12 in terms of population in Taiwan (chiayi has only 270,000 population), I believe it's good enough for now!

Welcome to Chiayi ^^

Due to Taiwanese president's new 10 project which the congress has just passed the funding, Chiayi will be granted to build Asia's new largest museum (chiayi gugong) ~ $250 million US dollar investment (the whole museum site - asia culture museum park will be approx. the same size as Bejing's forbidden city), along with existing world renown Alishan mountain. Chiayi will become Taiwan's top tourist city by 2008.

well... same old same old... studying hard. I was a bit disspointed at one point about this forum (taiwan section) been turned into a political battle ground. So, took a few months off and focus on my studying. Now I am back from time to time ^___^
