Another office highrise looking suspiciously much like the highrise in Gårda. Same height, same use, almost same design and same environmental certification. It will be completed in 2012.

This almost confused me!
Isn't Gårda also quite close to Ullevi stadion?

It would probably look a lot better in all-glass...

Probably... we will see when the project will be finished.

Here are some more photos from site.

6 more floors to go. At least 16 is better than 8.

I wonder where all people are when walking in this neighborhood. Hope it gets more alive after this building.

^^It's all offices, right? Should be more residentials to make it more "alive"...

I agree with you about the glass. It would look 5x times better but the facade as it is right now is pretty decent. It could be worse. Take a look at Kungsholmsporten, the two highrises. Very dull facade. But at least they look good from some angles

which one do you prefer?

1, 2 or 3?

3 is latest.

I dont understand how they are allowed to build something that boring in that location! Is it supposed to match Göteborgs energi offices a couple of blocks away or what?

Since when did we start to build anything but boring buildings in Goteborg? ;)

I like the lights on the top floor and I think I like the rest of the building too but I want to see it finished in daylight before my final judgement. Maybe someone could help me with that.. ;)

The 7-eleven on the bottom floor is a good addition to the area. Does anyone know if it will be open after business hours?

It is there, but it is incredibly subtle. Sweden seems to be sneaking in more of these features to its buildings. Who knows, they might go all out eventually and make something that is completely off the wall! =P

The location is good, the height is alright, but the shape.. :bash: :ohno:

P.S. thank you very much for sharing a picture of this building with us, JonasL. :)

I think the building is butt-ugly. It's a pity it's visible even from within Ullevi stadium.

Why? I mean it's not a fantastic building but neither is it that bad. I think it's positive that the height of the buildings in Gothenburg are increasing slightly. That makes for a better skyline in the future.
