I choose Ljubljana because I rest in summer in Kärnten in my apartment. I fly there from Moscow to Ljubljana and go by a car to Velden. When I go by car TO airport, my navigation demonstrates (when I turn right to A11: A11 LJUBLJANA)

Union.SLO, it was interesting. I was going there from Portorož by a car. I stopped in underground parking of 1 school. When we were going, my grandma and father decided to going back. And I with my mum and sister walked then to Cerkev St. Jurija (I am russian and I m orthodox) to see it. It was Monday, the church was closed. And there were excellent views to Trst/Trieste! Then we went to Oceanarium. It was situated in Tartinjev trg. Then we ate some ice-cream and went back to hotel

    Good morning 'Union.slo'

I am planning to visit Slovenia next April and will be visiting the city of Ljubljana, and the towns of Portoroz and Postojnia.

Can you recommend which Art Deco buildings that we should visit in these places ?

    Regards and lep pozdrav,

    Maria

PS I have really enjoyed your postings and pics…. I had no idea of the depth of Art Deco architecture in Slovenia !

    Hey!

Yes, they were taken in winter, February actually. I don't live on Slovenian coast, but as I remeber it was quite warm that time. Average winter temperature in Koper is above zero (about 3°C).

Have a nice day - Ich wünsche Ihnen einen schönen Tag!:)
