Hola #texan,
I see you live in the US as do I. My grandmother Juanita Reyes was from Nueva Esparta and one of the descendants of the Spanish settlers, according to her. My grandfather was from El Sauce but through DNA I found his Y chromosome to be Basque or Catalan, so they were both Spaniard descendants. However, the DNA goes back hundreds of years and I do not know where they actually migrated from in more recent times
At any rate, my mom separated from dad when I was young (I was born in Sonsonate) and the information about my father’s family has been very vague at best. However, an uncle once told me that the Rubio were family. Are we related? Do you more information about the Reyes, Caminos, Garcia family?
Best regards,
Carlos Garcia
