The statements quoted here were my honest straight-forward reply to questions fielded during an interview.
I was asked about the chances of the reconsideration. My answer is clear; the die is cast; it's difficult to get 21 votes and so the chances are slim.
I was asked what if Filinvest threaten to withdraw their investments. My reply is "for all we care." Investments go where money will grow. If Filinvest believe they would not make money here so be it. I think others would fill in to take advantage of opportunities. The threat to pull out is childish.
I remember the last question asked was what is my advise to land developers. My reply - acquire lands that are zonified for housing, which are within the residential zone. Common sense di ba?
Why buy lots in protected zones or agricultural zones if your plans are for housing? The blame should not be placed on the City Council for your folly.
