The Brisbane skyline has reached another construction milestone with installation of Riparian Plaza’s 70 metre communications spire yesterday.
The spire extends 70 metre higher than Central Plaza One to provide wide-ranging telecommunication provisions.
Last October the mantle of Brisbane’s tallest building was handed to the Bloomberg developed Riparian Plaza, after more than 16 years being held by Central Plaza One.
Riparian Plaza has now reached its final height of RL 204.34 AHD to the roof parapet. The addition of the 69.785 metre spire takes the building to RL 253.850.
At this height, specific approvals were required and have been granted from the Australian Government Department of Transport and Regional Services, in accordance with CASA specifications.
