Al Habtoor Group Announces New Project Details
Al Habtoor Group announced today that they have broken ground on an exciting new tower project in the Emirate’s newest, smartest upmarket hub, Dubai Marina. Apart from its many commercial tenants it will showcase the prestige marques of Aston Martin, Bentley and Bugatti on behalf of the Group’s Al Habtoor Motors division.
Mr Khalaf al Habtoor, Chairman of the Group said today, ”This stunning new building will provide the exclusive environment expected by the discerning buyers of these cars. Our clients will be able to browse in comfort and see their new vehicles at their very best. It will give the building a very special atmosphere.”
He continued, “Al Habtoor Marina Tower is unique as it is the closest commercial building to the residential areas at the beach and as such it commands magnificent views of the Arabian Gulf unavailable to any other business tower”.
Al Habtoor Marina Tower will be 41 storeys with a built area of nearly 50,000m2 and, as well as the showroom, will also be home to many other businesses looking for a prestige address and quality environment. Its situation in the fast developing Dubai Marina district gives it a powerful strategic location close to Media City, Internet City and Knowledge Village as well as being right in among the fashionable hotels of Jumeirah Beach, including the company’s own Habtoor Grand Resort and Spa, whose twin towers opened for business in 2005. Of course, being situated within easy striking distance of the Jebel Ali Free Zone as well as the new Jebel Ali Airport City and yet well within the glamour of the Jumeirah Beach district gives the new project a unique feel.
Khalaf al Habtoor reported that, “Our venture with the Habtoor Grand has been such a success that we knew a commercial development of this kind would be a valuable addition not just to our own portfolio but to the district as a whole. It’s an exciting time in an exciting area.”
The development is expected to complete well inside the next two years and marks a significant step forward for the Al Habtoor Group which recently celebrated its 35th anniversary by announcing two other hotel developments – on the Jumeirah Palm and in the mid-town Business Bay area.
