I understand your reaction, but really if you look at the list, obviously there are very few "5 diamond " restaurants in the whole U.S. That doesn't mean there are not countless excellent restaurants throughout the country. Besides, it's all opinion anyway. Being a vegetarian, I may not like a lot of the restaurants listed, and may love some that are only "2 diamond".

Last I heard, the only 5 Star & 5 Diamond restaurant in the south was the Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas.

BTW, there may be more restaurants in Houston, but IHOP's and Burger King's don't count on this list. :bash:
