Love that last pic....Melbourne can get cold but no where near to forming ice on our waterways, brrrrrr what's the coldest & warmest temps in Toronto ?
Average daily high for February is 0.2c and average low is -6.3c. I think the coldest it got this winter so far was around -16c. Our winters tend to dip cold, then go back to normal and then mild. The average daily high in July is 26.4c, and the average daily low in July is 17.9c, so you can see our continental climate gives an extreme difference between summer and winter.
The hottest it reached in Toronto was 40c in 1936, and the coldest was -33c in 1859.

I think summer time in Canada sure is very pleasant and recommended for visiting, but why don't you plan to visit Toronto during winter time and experience something that you can never imagine in Australia?
Im talking about tornto lol , i live in toronto , my profile info can be a bit misleading
But yea tehran is hot in the summer but its much more tolerable the hot days of toronto, tehran is dry , so even at 40 degrees its not that bad, the air feels light , whereas in toronto , at 30 degrees its very hot , because of the humidity which is like a punch in the face haha
