Einkaufszentrum "MyZeil"

Man beachte die edlen Fantastomarkennamen. Haben sich bestimmt Berliner ausgedacht.

Unfortunately, a friend of mine (CEO of a major Frankfurt architectural firm) has suggested the plans for the shopping mall are likely to be scaled down drastically, as much money has been lost due to Kaufhof (the department store next door) causing legal issues over noise and disruption. In reality, it’s obvious Kaufhof are worried about the competition next door with such a large shopping center. It would be a real pity to have such a wonderful design scrapped for something cheap and nasty because of these issues.

There are plans to simplify parts of the glass construction to safe some money.

The aerial picture of Tom is much better than this one, but here is what you can see from the ground.

The summer will be finished and they'll still be digging the hole :eek:hno:
And then, sorry it is too cold to work outside. Let's wait another 6 months.
