Price Tower - 19 floors (58m 191ft) completed 1956
- Bartlesville, Oklahoma (20 miles north of Tulsa)
- One of only two completed skyscrapers designed by FLW
Yup, he was not too good at this "tall" thing. The forms are not so bad. But the materials, the proportions, the details...not good. FLW doing a skyscraper just doesn't even sound right.
Interesting. The farther away you get from it, the more modern and newer it looks, but as you get close, looks like it needs a good bath. Neat design though. 8/10.
This building is so unique, in a good way. It was ahead of it's time, and offers no boring angles. The materials are interesting, and it's not a boring box.
