Hill International Selected as Project Manager of New 76-Story Al Durrah Tower in Dubai

Dubai, UAE -- Hill International, Inc., the worldwide construction consulting firm, has announced that a subsidiary company, Hill International (Middle East) Ltd., has received a contract from H.E. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Butti Al Hamid to provide project management services during the design and construction phases of the Al Durrah Tower in Dubai.

The new 76-story, 330-meter tower will be located adjacent to the Fairmont Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. The project comprises a tower with a built-up area of 134,398 square meters that will accommodate 102 three-bedroom, 325 two-bedroom and 283 one-bedroom apartments. The ground and mezzanine floors give way for retail and commercial space, whilst recreational facilities including a swimming pool and gymnasium are housed at roof levels. One basement is allocated for services. An adjacent car parking structure with a built-up area of around 32,630 square meters will accommodate 884 vehicles. The project is expected to cost approximately US$140 million.

"The Al Durrah Tower will be a major addition to the skyline of Dubai," said Raouf S. Ghali, President of Hill's International Project Management Group. "Hill is proud to have been selected as its project manager and we will ensure that this project is built according to the world-class standards of construction in the region," Ghali added.

Hill International, with nearly 700 employees in 21 offices worldwide, provides program management, project management, construction management and construction claims services. Engineering News-Record magazine recently ranked Hill as the 18th largest construction management firm in the United States. the render seems to be inaccurate
it says adjacent which means (for me) next to
but it doesn't say on the next plot right next to fairmont

in the render it appears to be 2 plots to the right of fairmont

but, the fairmont has some kind of a huge cooling plant next to it, which is as large as 1 plot

at least there still is plenty of space between fairmont and the capital towers, as well as another plot between fairmont and api world tower, where the 415m badriya tower was supposed to be, but.....
