i think that Kruijk means the one at the middle of a straight section (short sharp curve), it really looks as italian horizontal marking in the movie of new Mestre's bypass, remember?^^ I think it's the zoom. Check out the French A75, they have extremely tight curves there near Lodeve. Quite spectacular.

Actually it's not the zoom. The section of the infamous Struma highway, which by accident happens to be mere 15 km long, has some curves with radius, which does not fit the highway standards.^^ I think it's the zoom. Check out the French A75, they have extremely tight curves there near Lodeve. Quite spectacular.
