^^ So that hotel was built under the Pahlavi era?

Forgive me lol, maybe i'm just a too lazy reader but when i saw the interior it looked very newly built.

And yes the facade does look very fresh it's not so ugly, you don't go like "Wow what a cool hotel!" when you see it, but the interior truely made me just sit and stare at my screen for a few seconds.

It will be the best district in Tehran in the next 15 years.
Why dont they build all these parks, highrises and lakes also in tehrans east.Tehrans east ist badly neglegted

if they want to reduce the gap they should not only focus on the south north gap. What i have seen in the south is not that bad,bad the east comparesd to the west is desastrouse. They should really focus on the east.as u said many workers, unemployed people, faghr and fahsha.Masalan khake sefido kubundan, ama mardome un mantaghe pakhsh shodan tuu seraj, tehranpars, estakhro und dorewara.

these projects are lovely, but what concerns me is the destruction of all the old houses and gardesna nd beautiful tree covered nature of the north of the city, its maybe one of the most beautiful areas in any city in the world, especially around saad abad palace

hopefully the construction up there will decline and the will build these in the south of the city, its even easier to make them down there, flat land, less expensive, yekam maye dara ham pakhsh beshan tu shahr

Nice pictures!

I really don't care about the destruction of the old houses if they are built under islamic era  no just kidding, but as long as they're not historical houses and just old residental ones it shouldn't matter alot, as the population grows there is a higher demand for housing i believe.

It doesn't surprise me that they don't built these houses in south tehran, or "payinshahr", they seem to be built for wealthy people, and i guess these people would rather spend their money living in the more chiller, more silent parts of tehran (north).

thats what im arguing, lol, alot of the old residential houses are part of tehran's heritage and what makes tehran tehran, beautiful gardens are being destroyed and being replaced with concrete, u say the "silent" north, if they keep building the north wont be silent anymore, :bash:

all of this will get destroyed
