Does anyone know who paid for the gate? Railroad or developer? This setting intrigues me because it seems the main purpose for the gate is to shut down the road so that the University Village could use the road's space on the north side of the viaduct for parking or grass, or what have you.

Is it?
Given the doldrums in the economy and the screeching halt to exciting new construction projects, I kind of figured the last thing I want to see is more decay and abandonment. To each his own, I guess..

To each his own, indeed. I'm going to love this thread if more people contribute. |
