The Estonian one looked better on this render IMO:
![]() My favourites are definitely the Danish and Norwegian pavilions because they are simply the best looking of N&B pavilions. The Swedish one looks very boring to me, probably because of the shape and colour, Finnish and Danish pavilions are all round and then comes Sweden with it's box. Not a fan of the Lithuanian pavilion either, it does kinda look like a warehouse or a bauhof store as mentioned in the post below. Last edited by kr!sto; May 2nd, 2010 at 02:20 PM. the chinese workforce has kind of screwed up the finnish and danish pavilions, they're not round-shaped as they were supposed to be, but very clumsy-looking.
but i have to say, the danish one is even better (the raw finishing aside) than i would have expected. big ftw! i voted for iceland because i see their pavilion as a manifesto of economical rationality, keeping in mind their financial troubles. the lithuanian pavilion is a joke to me. looks like some bauhof on the outskirts of everytown.

The Danish one looks great, but should have been better. Latvian also looks good. My personal favourite is the Norwegian one though, and that is not because its Norwegian, but its design and details rocks! Its the design that stands out the most of all the N&B ones for sure. |

I prefere the Norwegian - maybe also because the photo is great. Estonia comes in second, and I also voted for Iceland, which I may now have regreted after having a closer look

Latvian pavillion will be a kickass when finished, just one note - if it will get finished!
![]() But from the others I prefer Denmark, Finland, Norway. Hard to say which is best, but rather Denmark.

Atleast it's a must-see pavilion. I gave my vote to Norway.

Like the danish and norwegian pavillions the most. The estonian and latvian are second. The worst - swedish and lithuanian (sorry, but i am not a fan of our 'box' pavillion this year, nor do i like the swedish divided 'Ikea' box
).

![]() However, the pavillion is a good expression of the lack of knowledge in modern achitacture (jst like most of the new projects in Sweden - boxy boxy boxy).

Danish pavilion for the win.
And Jarmo. You have to be really pedantic to see those flaws. Okay, NOT that pedantic. Its a kind of "when you see you cannot unsee" thing. But still, first impression - awesome x BIG. #2 goes to Finland, eventhough, render was way better. Honorable mention to Lithuania for doing something completely ridiculous. Seriously, did some basketballplayer design it? Edit. Hmm. No skyline/perforation on the facade, disappointment.

I woted for Swedish one. But on Estonian one can notice the flags of Latvia and Lithuania. That's cool, tnx!
Anyway, Swedish IMO is one of the most cubic and at the same time amazingly innovative pavillion!

Probably, you are right. I bet the swedish pavillion will be the most technologically-advanced inside and even not among pavillions representing our region.
Anyway, we judge the exterior more and the one isn't very interesting from the outside.

here comes black and white propaganda:
- denmark - no, maybe japan, yes. - estonia - in middle of africa (yup, its definitly true) - finland - no, its brazilian - iceland - where is the vulcano? - latvia - russian paperarchitecture from 20-30ies - lithuania - whatever supermarket in greece - norway - no, its abu dhabi - sweden - car parking lot for icelandic pavillion?
