Yikes, isn't this nearby the Valley Fault line? Although the building lies on the bedrock I think.

This is the old proposed site for Burgundy Horizon (Developer: Burgundy Asset Development Corporation). SMDC bought the lot direct from its private owner, not from Burgundy.

One good thing about this condo project, the upper floors will definitely have a nice view of marikina valley and the beautiful-green campus of the Ateneo

ganoon ba? you want to invest here? you like the location? dami magrerent na taga ateneo? this is "better investment" even malapit siya sa marikina valley fault? why not get one here? gusto mo i-cheer pa kita?

sana hindi lang puro salita di ba? hindi ka kikita sa puro "i think", "i like", "i want". actions make things happen. if you really think this is a better investment, get one now.

Quake with magnitude of 6.3 rattles northern Japan

http://ph.news.yahoo.com/ap/20100704...u-4cec4ac.html

AP - Monday, July 5SendIM StoryPrint.TOKYO – A quake with a magnitude of 6.3 jolted northern Japan early Monday, but there was no danger of a tsunami, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.

The quake occurred off the coast of Iwate, some 310 miles (500 kilometers) north of Tokyo at 7:08 am (2208 GMT) Monday. The quake's center was 19 miles (30 kilometers) below the sea surface, the agency said.

Iwate police official Takahiro Fujibayashi said there were no reports of damage.

"I felt the tremor, but nothing fell off from bookshelves after the quake," he said.

Japan is one of the world's most earthquake-prone countries. In 1995, a magnitude-7.2 quake in the western port city of Kobe killed 6,400 people.

how would you like to live in a high rise condo near marikina valley fault? Every time there's an earthquake, kinakabahan ka. nice investment isn't it?

i hope agents also disclose these stuffs to their clients, hindi lang laging ganito tulad nitong nasa baba.

kawawa naman yun bibili ng hindi nakakaalam o hindi aware di ba? pinaghihirapan din nila yun pera na ipangbabayad sa condo na kukumisyunin ninyo. sana makunsensya naman kayo.

I don't know what to say. SM Corp is indeed in greed. They're buying small parcels of land in a busy location (well, in this case happens to lie near the faultline) and then fills up the air with tiny units on top of each other. Not to mention, the price is just as high as the towers. Goodluck to all in Henry Sy's bait. I wouldn't spend a cent in this high-rise if only for the view. Never will I compromise the safety of my loved ones, not even my tenants.

Blue Residences [?F|res] Katipunan Ave., Quezon City

Walking in SM Megamall, I saw that SMDC has another project in Katipunan area beside Ateneo, which is basically its second project there after Berkley. It is called Blue Residences. From the map it appears it is at that corner of Katipunan and Aurora Blvd by the flyover.

Anyways, I searched for some photos of it and saw some from Sulit.com because this one is not yet in the SMDC website. I wonder why.
