Really? I don't know what your first hand experience is but I have seen these types of buildings in similar conditions for decades and they're standing firm. A lot of the buildings in pictures you've posted are suffering from weathering. Especially the black ones.

Twenty years from now these will probably be dominated by ugly concrete blocks. Just like how Chandni Chowk and all of Mangalore is now.

One thing that is apparent from looking at all the pictures posted here - is that we LOVE MITTI !!! There's rubble & dust evident in almost every location that's been photographed.

Nevertheless, good work in consolidating the pictures on this forum.

Goes to show how ****ed up we are in tyring to keep our ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE alive.. no ! DEAD !
