PONMUDI is Trivandrum's own Hill Station, just like 'Khandala' is for Mumbai and 'Nandi Hills' for Bangalore.

Ponmudi is at an altitude of about 3500 ft above sea level, at a distance of about 60 km. The final 15 kms from Kallar Valley to Ponmudi has 22 hairpin bends

KOVALAM is one of India's most famous beach destinations, acclaimed internationally.

Kovalam has many crescent shaped beaches, the Hawah Beach, the Light House beach, Grove (Leela Kempinski) beach, Samudra beach etc.

This video shows Hawah (Eves') beach and Light House Beach.

NAPIER MUSEUM, ZOO & the BOTANICAL GARDENS.

The Museum, Zoo and the Botanical Gardens occupy 55 acres of wod lands, lakes and lawns in the heart of the city.

The Museum was established in 1855 and Zoo in I857.

NEYYAR DAM, RESERVOIR, LION SAFARI PARK

Neyyar dam is located on the foot of the Western Ghats about 30 km from the city. It was established in 1958 and is a popular picnic spot. Lying against the southern low hills of the Western Ghats, Neyyar Dam has a beautiful lake.

Neyyar also has a Crocodile Park & Deer Park

Napier Museum
One of the finest architectural wonder in Trivandrum is the Napier Museum constructed in 1855 constructed by Robert Chisholm . It is a landmark building of Trivandrum.
