The old industrial zone has huge plans for new office parks.
Apart from Gav Yam park, the other big office complex coming up is Azrieli Holon.
the cornerstone was laid a few months ago.

I hate this fucking towns,their development commemorate them as a satelit towns,american suburbs,a sleeping towns.
what with a development which prepare them to be much more like a big city,much more like Tel Aviv with a commerce streets with a commerce facade instead of mass of buildings for wealthy people which are not connected in any way to the street and make this fucking bitchies towns to manage the trade life of a real big city or preparation when time would come and the number of residents will grow,and this future cities will have to deal with how make the residents manage their life in the city and not running out to the only city in israel - Tel Aviv or how to stay awake.
Most of the cities build an isolated neighborhoods without any connection to a integrated functional city,just a fucking suburbs for wealth people which manage an isolated life without any thought of urbanization.
i live in a suburb and i am miserable i am just waiting to move to a real city,to Tel aviv.

I didn't refer to holon because i know when times come it will be united with Tel aviv and the other cities between them.
but what i said referring to every city in Israel,which have no intention to develop as a city instead of a suburb.
Rishon lezion is a great example,city with a lot of potential and a idiot as a mayor,that stop every single idea to make this city(in israeli scales)to a big city,this city has everything,a shore,it's not too close to tel aviv and not too far,it has also a great history,yet the mayor stop every e-b project and not intend to make the city a big city by any scale,he just want his city to be a nice suburb of Tel aviv and not any further.

True- the entire center of Rishon is just disgusting. The municipality should just rebuild the entire area and develop a tourist site near the city's beach by building new hotels and a new, open commercial center (not another mall).

The best example is Ashdod. They build more and more residental projects and almost non for commerce. Very sad!

There was an article a while back about a residential eco tower planned in "The Avenue" suburb, its probably still on the drawing boards
