Once again Rayman your selction of pictures reminds me how beautiful is our country...
I've always dreamt about trekking gorillas, kind of wild human, and since rwandans can afford the fee of $40, unfortunately when ORTPN informed me that a taxi ride costs twice the fee, just to get there, my dream to walk alongside those primates was ruined and had to be postponed... ![]() Is it the restaurant opposite to Top tower hotel, and close to the Ikirezi book shop? yup, you are definetely right... ![]() Spotlight on some 2010 figures: - Visitors welcomed in rwanda: 666 000 (i don't like this figure though) - 41% of them for business, 46% for leisure - A profit increase of 14% compared to 2009 with a value of $ 200 millions - The mountain Gorillas are one of Rwanda’s top tourism revenue earners. and for this year focus on launching three new birding routes outside the national parks, cultural tourism and the development of tourism in an effort to diversify the country’s tourism industry source RDB/newtimes: http://www.newtimes.co.rw/print.php?...&article=38097 Last edited by Kigali_Paris; May 31st, 2011 at 12:41 PM. |

I heard it never gets too warm in Rwanda, and Its like the country is locked up in ''Everlasting spring''''.......
Rwanda is beautiful, but generally all the countries around the Great lakes area, are, as well. I love Green and mountainous places.
