C&W official said 2.5 yrs time but CM Punjab said that our primary target is to finish it with in 1.5 years and it is possible.
i saw the interview (recorded some time ago) of Malik Riaz (Chairman Bahria Town) and he said that i was in lahore and i saw the ring road project and i asked CM Punjab Y r u throwing ur money on a six lane double carrige road. its going to cost 12bn (old cost) and ull get nothing back, he said that i advised him to make it more beautiful and make wide service roads and make a highrise downtown on it and he said that if these plans are implemented then in a span of 2 years of completion LRR can produce a revenue of atleast 40bn. Now the LRR costs 16bn and there are service lanes, but i dunno abt highrises. I was comparing it with Gulberg MB but after seeing the rendering i think Gulberg MB will be nothing compared to it. |

well it wouldnt take long for the road to complete, but take about 5 years for the high rise down town to complete, i hope no idiot investers buy land on it and leave it there for about 10 years till prices go up and then sell it. they should sell plots to only those people interested in investing in towers and malls.
